November 26th Friday, Bahia Algadones, Anchored out in the bay

Today we went to the bay to anchor so we could have a clear shot out in the dark and head for the other side of the sea of cortes. Its about 78 miles across the sea.  We planned to go to Bahia Concepcion, El Burro. We anchored and then took the dink to the beach to go to the Soggy peso. What a great place! Lots of people it was a palapa style building open with tables with unbrellas and chairs on the beach, a small stage area where some locals were playing guitars and singing upbeat beach music. The bar is u shaped behind all the tables and chairs and another area left of that you can order tacos and you could buy very expensive shirts and things. Very beautiful setting open to water in front where our boats are anchored , down the beach to the left was the marina area, to the right is a rocky point with a couple islands off the point and a lagoon that came in next to the point and wrapped around to the back side of the bar putting water on three sides of the Resturant/bar. The sunset was incredible. There were several other boats anchored out also preparing for the passage as well. We all left between 130 and 230am, calm and lit up by a quarter moon.
